Between restaurants, wineries, and boutique shopping, Napa Valley has much to offer visitors and locals alike! But most visitors to the region don't realize the wealth of festivals, events, and performances available throughout the year. Just a quick drive up Highway 29 from the SENZA Hotel is the picturesque town of Yountville, where you're sure to find something fun whenever you visit. Below are just a few of our favorites. Jessup Cellars has an elegant tasting salon in downtown Yountville that features their renowned, hand-crafted wines. For the last four years, Jessup Cellars has also been co-producing a summer music series called the Art House Sessions. Every third weekend in June, July, August, and October, the tasting room showcases an artist for both conversation and performance, followed by a free concert the next day at The Estate Yountville. The Saturday night events last from 7:30 to 10:00 PM, and tickets are available for the general public, Jessup Cellars Wine Club Members, and Yountville locals. The next event will be Saturday, October 21, with the Foxtails Brigade duo – we'll see you there! The Napa Valley Performing Arts Center at the Lincoln Theater has an exciting lineup for the fall! Comedian Joy Koy will perform on October 7, followed by the famous Russian violinist Vadim Repin for "Repin and Russian Romantics" on October 14. A Other events slated for the fall include the Napa Valley Film Festival, The Nutcracker and more. The Lincoln Theater's diverse programming ensures that every season has something for everyone. The Napa Valley Museum is another great place to visit, with a variety of exhibits and collections in addition to special events. Check out Don Coen's Migrant Series, or Bittersweet Harvest presented by the Smithsonian. And next month, you can see the France Is a Feast exhibit, featuring photos of Julia Child's time in France.
